1. What is Open office Impress?

Ans. Open office Impress is free software used for creating effective presentations. It is provided by Apache open office suite.

2. What is software suite?

Ans. Software suite is a collection of two or more software programs that are bundled and sold together.

3. What is Theme?

Ans. Theme is a combination of various formats such as background colors, font style, text size or colour etc. which allows us to make the presentation attractive and effective.

4. How to open “Open office Impress”?

Ans. Steps to open “Open office Impress”

i. Click on Start button

ii. Click on All program

iii. Click on open office.org

iv. Then click on Open office impress.

5. What is Drop Down menu?

Ans. Drop Down menu is a list of item that appear when we click on a button or text selection.

6. What is Slide?

Ans. Slide is the single page of presentation.

7. What is the meaning of slide design?

Ans. Slide design helps to make the presentation beautiful and attractive.

8. Write the steps to create a presentation in open office impress.

Ans. The steps are as follows.

 

i. Open “open office impress” from start button.

ii. Select empty presentation from presentation wizard.

iii. Click on next button.

iv. Select on slide design.

v. Click on next button.

vi. Select desire effective and setting.

vii. Click on create button.

9. Write the steps to selecting background styles.

Ans. The steps are as follows:-

i. Click on format menu and select style and formatting option.

ii. Right click on background button.

iii. Click on modify option.
